The responsibilities of a MASTERS IN MLT( medical laboratory technician) are varied and multifaceted, including gathering, processing, and analyzing biological samples and other substances, performing assays, problem-solving, troubleshooting techniques, and correlating clinical procedures and results. They also include understanding the principles and practices of quality assessment for all major disciplines, including clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, and molecular biology.
As required by their occupation, medical laboratory technicians work both independently and collaboratively while taking responsibility for their own decisions. They possess the necessary information and abilities to instruct the general public, laboratory professionals, other health care professionals, and those involved in laboratory practice.
